Another Osage Orange Specimen

I discovered another specimen of the Osage orange tree I described in my previous post (above). This one is right on Isleta Boulevard, so it’s a lot more accessible than the other one and is loaded with inedible fruits. Its closest relative is the edible breadfruit, the same plant that Captain William Bligh was carrying from Tahiti to Jamaica aboard the HMS Bounty when the infamous mutiny occurred.
Here is the osage orange at right, next to an apple for scale. As you can see, it closely resembles my brain.
