This is my 2 by 3 foot mezclun lettuce garden, with that word meaning a selection of green and purple lettuce varieties. My garden lasts for six months and we save money on buying packaged greens imported from Zimbabwe or wherever. Not much money, but hey, it’s fun. And Mary Jane surprises me with a different dressing every night. So far balsamic vinaigrette and homemade Green Goddess. It’s great to be harvesting from the garden at this early time of the year.
