The Future of Meat

As I grow older, I find that I’m eating less meat than I used to. And it’s weird. Take chicken, for example. I like the flavor of chicken, but I don’t particularly like to eat the meat. Given the choice of eating rice with chicken gravy or a grilled drumstick, I would opt for the rice. The only meats that I really enjoy are prime rib of beef, a fine steak, hamachi (which is raw yellowtail), and tuna. That said, I don’t see the point of plant-based fake meats–plenty of vegetables are much more flavorful. However, if meat substitutes tickle your tastebuds, go for it.
These days, because of advances in food technology, we have a lot of options regarding meat.
